The Old Town Vapor 10 …Corvette of Kayaks

The Old Town Vapor’s distinctive profile makes it look like a paddle driven sports car. It’s a compact kayak with a lot of legroom. This kayak is extremely stable for a sit-inside kayak. The large cockpit opening is designed for a comfortable ride for even a larger framed folks. There is also plenty of space for a cooler, lunch, and whatever gear your adventure may require. It’s small enough to handle with one person, but large enough for that person to be kinda big. The price point of this entry level kayak is also a selling point. These range between $300 and $500 depending on how it’s outfitted. They also offer an XT and Angler options with added features such as covered gear storage and an anchor trolley.

Vapor 10 Angler

The Vapor 10 Angler is equipped with a comfortable seat, flush mounted rod holders, and an anchor trolley system. The Vapor 10 Angler goes beyond the basics. This is really a great beginner or advanced level kayak. This is my personal yak and I absolutely love it. For the money you really just can’t beat it. The rod holders are at a wide angle which is great for not getting your lines tangled, but it does give you a wider profile if you’re paddling through dense brush.
